Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) held the General Assembly meeting – virtually – on Wednesday, June 1st , 2022. in the presence of (973) members out of (1779) of the General Assembly’s members, and the meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Fraih, Senior Adviser of Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Steering Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting Mr. Al-Fraih welcomed the attendees and members of the General Assembly and thank their attendance, keenness, and interaction. He also thank TAQEEM's efforts and quest to achieve the goals, and to enhance its role in maximizing the quality of the profession and increasing reliability and developing the regulatory and supervisory environment.

His Excellency nominated the Secretary-General of TAQEEM, Eng. Faisal Al-Mandeel, as Secretary of the General Assembly meeting, and His Excellency nominated the vote counting committee headed by the Executive Director of Legal Affairs and Professional Control, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mutlaq, and the Executive Director of Planning and Business Development, Eng. Hamad Al-Harqan.

The Secretary General of TAQEEM reviewed a report on TAQEEM's performance for 2021, he highlighted the most important achievements and the efforts made to develop the valuation profession. He also addressed the most prominent observations and inquiries received on the items of the General Assembly and answered them.

After that, the Chairman of the Vote Counting Committee announced that the General Assembly had approved by a majority all articles on the Assembly's agenda. 

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency thank all TAQEEM's members for their interaction and vote on the Assembly's articles.
